When to use the random team generator
When fairness matters less than speed — backyard kickabouts, training drills, kids' matches, or whenever rating every player feels like overkill — random splitting is the right call. This tool shuffles your player list and distributes them as evenly as possible across the number of teams you choose.
If team sizes don't divide evenly, the extra players are spread one-per-team starting from team 1, so sizes differ by at most one.
